Since his spectacular win at the ARD Competition 2022, he has been thrilling audiences. Born in Vienna in 2001 and trained there, he is currently studying with Igor Levit at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media. In spring 2023, Lukas Sternath was named ECHO Rising Star of the 2024/25 season by the Musikverein Wien and Konzerthaus Wien as well as the Philharmonie Luxembourg.
